[WORLD] Mediterranean biome
I would like to suggest Mediterranean as a new possible biome or sub-biome for post-1.0 Eco. This is a climate obviously found around the Mediterranean Sea but are also found along the coasts of California (including cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles), in Cape Town area of South Africa, the southern coastal portion of Canadian province of British Columbia (especially around Victoria), and the city of Adelaide, Australia, among the others.
I recommend the following plants for the biome:
-Wheat
-Olives
-Grapes
These are the so-called triad of the Roman agriculture, at least in Italy.
I also recommend other plants for possible addition to the biome:
-Orange (a major crop in the southern California)
I do not have knowledge of fauna for this biome.
The following trees are recommended for this biome:
-Cypress
-Palm tree
-Oak trees
As for the rock types, well, it probably will share much similarity with Grasslands biome, but I am unsure. However, limestone is almost certainly a thing in this biome, given the historical prevalence of marble in ancient Roman and Greek architecture.
Its typical topography should be relatively flat and hilly. There may be an occasional mountain within this biome. The biome, obviously, should be primarily found along the coasts.
Will update this post as I find more information or incorporate any feedback offered below.

As of the moment our grasslands biome can be actually split into two : Wet grasslands (beet/corn-heavy) and dry grasslands (flax/grass heavy) . I propose that the dry grasslands be split into this category, so to encourage further diversity.
