thank you for your suggestion - unfortunately we have purposefully decided to use mod.io as platform for Eco modding, as our game does not only get distributed via Steam. Additionally, modding in Eco is only possible server-side, while Steam Workshop is intended for client modding and does not offer sufficient seamless capability for server modifications.
As such we unfortunately have no plans to offer Steam Workshop support for Eco.
