Dennis Scholz You mentioned deeds, however what about homesteaders? Or singleplayers? I can't seperate my homestead into deeds can I? Do I have to forfeit power to keep the bonus? But what about whaterwheels? There are sneaky ways to put a waterwheel in a room that cannot be done with a windmill after all.
Aminity If you play singleplayer on recommended settings you will receive outpost claimstakes and claims when reading skill scrolls that you can use to create a new deed, in multiplayer they are available via settlements. There is no need to forfeit power, it can be transferred from a different deed - each producer and consumer acts like in a Zigbee network and will increase the range. Note that it is intended that the outdoor bonus is not available at the same time as the other room bonuses.
Dennis Scholz Thanks, I will try to experiment with those then!
Hello Aminity, thanks for your suggestion. The behaviour you mentioned is working as intended and we have no current plans to change it. The outdoor room bonus is additional to all other bonuses in the game and intended to be granted for players that separate their industrial operations from their housing residence, beautifying the latter in the process. You are able to get the outdoor bonus by simply splitting your deeds into two separate ones, one for industrial operations and the other for sole housing. This is also possible at two completely different places on the map.
