After a mine flooded from sea level rise, I plugged the holes in the ceiling, blocked off the part of the river that caused the flooding, and installed an electric pump, but the water level in the mine didn't diminish. Since the game already has flow rates from pumps, it would be cool if pumps could lower the water level of flooded areas.
