Suggestion for Garbage Containers and Residence

HiSuggestion, we have to manually put new stockpile always to top.New Garbage Container =  I walk to my 35 Work Stations and have to put them manually at top, if you play in a residence, on top, stockpiles are always deactivated per standard, so I need to activate them all additonallyIm using like 30 minutes of my gaming time, just to activate stockpiles if 1 thing changesAs you already understood after reading, this makes no sense. My suggestion:1. - This should be normal standard beside the Garbage Containers: Give an option for residence with people, no matter who places it, it is for everyone, all added stockpiles are auto activated2. - If Garbage Containers are in reach of the producing work station, and there is garbage produces, Always prefer the Garbage Container for Garbage output, No matter if it is at the bottom of Stockpile list3. If 2. not possible, instead always Auto Put to Top of Stockpile list, and auto activate, if Garbage Container is placed Thank you

It is already the default behaviour that new storages placed on claimed property get linked to placed tables, this behaviour can also optionally be turned off per table in their "Storage" tabs. Storage linking however by design is a per-player setting, hence it is not possible to configure it for other players. It is also unfortunately not a universal desire of even players playing together that all their stockpiles are always auto-linked to all their tables, given linking is a purposeful decision to organize logistics and storage - which is supposed to be part of the base gameplay of Eco. Simply adding all stockpiles to every table is something we already did in the past, but was very disliked and hence changed based on player feedback. It is mostly a subjective view on what behaviour is preferential and we need to decide for one, as we cannot provide and support an unlimited amount of options adding significant complexity - there is hence unfortunately no plans to revert to the state we already tried and was found to not be the most optimal state. In upcoming Update 14.1 it will be possible to determine what (types of) items any given storage accepts, which should allow players to setup storages in a way that only garbage containers accept garbage. If a player makes use of this functionality for all their storages and subsequently just links them all, that will be a rather simple means to replicate the behaviour you suggest in the rest of your submission, just with other means than you suggested. Putting all garbage into garbage containers no matter where they are located in the list or how the list is organized or simply automatically putting them to the top of the list is an understandable suggestion that implies an increased quality of life at first look - it however disrespects player configured settings and would hence deprive players that do not like this behaviour of their agency as all of the possible implementations you suggested are 'overrides' to otherwise determined behaviour based on concious choices, which means they could either not be altered at all or would again require complex options. We hence opted to rather provide more means for players to more comfortably configure their storages in a concious manner, giving them more powerful tools to decide what goes where. For future suggestions please also try to separate them in a way that each submission contains exactly one suggestion - if a suggestion contains two totally different matters like this one, the voting functionality doesn't work well anymore. We could for example not discern if players voting on this submission are voting for automatic linking of storages or for special linking behaviour depending on container type. Likely voting players cannot either - voters might only be voting if they want both and not vote at all if they only want one of the suggestions, or they vote despite they only want one of the suggestions but not the other.
