I'm not sure what you mean with "personal mall" and "online mall", can you clarify?
Dennis Scholz"Personal mall" refers to an individual's store. "Online mall" refers to the establishment of an online store to display and sell various goods or services, allowing consumers to complete purchases and payments online. And everyone's store can connect to the "online mall" for purchases and payments.
renshenchujiu But, is this not already possible through the use of common shared currencies? But it might be that you are looking for a way to not have to even travel or use vehicles for transport of goods. That is counter-intuitive to the goals of the game, which are to include transport at various levels and stages of the games' progress.
Thad GuidryOk, thank you for your answer.
Dennis Scholz Many MMO games have a global electronic marketplace and when you make a purchase the product is delivered straight into your inventory. By contrast, Eco strives to be realistic to a degree so requires us to visit another player's Store in person and if we want to move a large amount, to take a mobile Inventory such as a cart or truck. For those players who don't care to engage with that level of realism, one possibility might be to add an NPC Courier Service that will let a player go "online shopping" via a Store, deliver the goods to an attached inventory and charge a configurable fee and delay for the service. I would suggest a configurable number of hours "shipping time" and a "flat fee + percentage" currency cost. It would need to be charged in the same currency as the item being sold since the buyer has unlimited supply of their own currency.
Trevor DixonI can't agree with you more
It is unfortunately not fully clear what the intention of this suggestion is - making purchases without the other player present is already possible via the store and contracts. That does always involve transportation of the goods by either party, though - a system where goods would simply be teleported is nothing we'd want to introduce, as logistics is a major design pillar of Eco. Similarly, we have no intent on introducing any sort of NPC's to the game, as the game is about cooperation with real players at its core. If your suggestion was neither of that, please feel free to open a new suggestion that gets more into the details of what you wish for :)
