More powerful law options, thus increasing government flexibility.
We have been playing around with laws in a private server & have run into significant limitations with the system. The premier idea was to introduce a UBI that paid citizens based on their level of wealth while also preventing the government account from running out of money. We were unfortunately unable to accomplish this due to the government system being seemingly unable to track multiple variables that are already present in the game such as:
- Amount of Money in a government account.
- Stats of multiple citizens in a single expression.
- Demographic stats, even ones that are easily visible in the game such as the number of Members.
These statistics are already visible in other game systems (Economy Viewer, Hovering over a demographic), it is very limiting to the lawmaking system that these are not accessible.
We ultimately gave up on having a scaling UBI law after fighting against the limitations of the laws system for a few days.
The system is already very powerful and unlike anything I have seen in other multiplayer games, as far as I am concerned the entirely player driven government system is the most impressive game feature. If the system was a little more open to other game variables the flexibility of the system could be truly limitless.
