Minimum Prices and Price controls
There have been significant recent changes regarding warehouse management and the trading dashboard.
It would be interesting if towns and governments had tools to control the minimum and maximum prices of individual goods, enabling them to create a planned economy—or simply guide players with price ranges for raw materials and processed resources. These monetary tools would be optional, allowing cities to choose whether to use them.
I know the current civic system can prevent players from transacting outside specific price ranges; however, the feature I am proposing would prevent players from even setting prices outside those limits in the first place. While this might limit player freedom, it could also serve as a clear pricing guideline. This approach could prevent price chaos and ensure smoother gameplay, though it might also introduce power dynamics capable of impacting the server if abused.
I believe that giving players and corporations more options could benefit the game. The issue isn't the tools themselves, but how they are used: a knife can be used to harm someone, or to slice bread and feed others.
