Also no. That Stone and Wood profession are even up is a good thing for economy as also nice creative buildings
Instead of nerfing loggers by moving hewn logs to the carpenter, why not just move mortared stone to miners instead of masons? Miners are currently really weak early on. Aside from research pages, they don't have any items to sell at the start of a cycle. Giving them mortared stone would provide them with something else to trade. Furthermore, I don't think most players realize just how much cheaper mortared stone actually is to produce compared to hewn logs, especially after all the close-by trees get cut down. Moving it to miners would solve the Tier-1 progression gap for them while keeping masons perfectly viable. Besides, masons are already incredibly strong. They unlock both the outdoor bonus with several items (unless you want to burn precious early-game tallow on tiki torches, lol) and the living room room-type with fireplaces.
Because T0 Adobe is pointless then. As you described was before.
We do plan to bring back the Hewing specialty.
Maybe then logging ---> hewing ---> lumbers and mining ---> masonry ---> concretes?
