Karma system

Maybe a way to keep from leaving the server would be a karma system, in which people gain karma when they 'complete' a world by destroying the meteor and they lose karma when they leave the server and never come back or something

This is technically already doable with the reputation system but even that is already heavily abused on alot of servers. This is very much a thin line to walk

I would be careful with this. I leave about 2/3 game in join in the first few days not because I don't want to stay until the end and complet the game, but because the server turns out to have rules that were not clear upfront or even because of admins abusing their powers to go against the in-game political system.
