This can be moved from a server enforced setting to a client one, which would also solve the issue when it comes to a players name that appears in the profanity list. The censor should be purely visual only, and not in its current form, cause a players name to be written into the world save as **** if their name happens to be on the list. This has caused issues for us on our server where we forgot to blank the profanity list prior to starting a cycle.
You can change the profanity filter - it requires you to rename the profanity.eco.template file to profanity.eco. You can then edit the file and remove any words you don't want filtered on your server. This is a server-side filter so you won't have a toggle button on your client or anything. It could certainly be easier to turn on/off however. Too much of server configuration requires editing text files most people don't know how to mess with.
are you asking to have this toggle available client side ? because in that case i agree
I didn't realize people needed to swear in order to be considered adults! The teenagers must have been right all along in trying to pretend to be adults :P I love the implication that not-swearing is somehow more childish than swearing :D
