In its simplicity, add a way to use compost to make biogas or biofuel. It would help to give compost more use than currently, and would also give new life to the utility of waste filters.

Fuel from photosynthesis isn't bio. It doesn't matter how long or if the carbon was buried. CO2 is CO2. Everything else is marketing.
