Buying and Selling as Shop Owner

I setup a lot of shops for town purposes as a mayor which means the I cannot use these shops and have to guess how much I've given/taken from these shops. It would be nice if there was a toggle or tab that would let shop owners use the store as a customer.

Totally agree. Often as mayor, I tend to pick up professions like painting (or other low time-commitment jobs) to give myself more time to focus on managing the town. The problem arises when I want to stock the government research store with ink. Currently, the only ways to do that are to: 1. Donate the ink to the town outright. 2. Place the ink in the government store and manually transfer funds to myself as payment, which looks bad on the ledger and can raise questions about why the mayor is transferring town funds to their personal account. 3. List the ink in my private store instead, which causes confusion for citizens who expect to see research items in the actual government research store. There is simply no clean way to separate my private wealth from town funds without the ability to interact with my own store as a customer. Additionally, this customer-mode toggle should apply to Currency Exchanges as well.

I’ve run into this several times while trying to operate as a “fair” mayor or other appointed official and seperate government funds from personal funds. This implementation would be really nice to be able to switch between customer and owner modes for owners. But customers are locked into customer mode.

This is super annoying and we need this 100%. I have had to setup government appointments (titles) to give to deeds that I want to use as a customer. its a ballache of a workaround though
