Accessibility - Mining: Auto pickup

For some people, holding the E key for 40 minutes while mining can be uncomfortable and cause numbness. I understand that it's part of the minigame, but it doesn't make mining more fun. Is there any way that the same pickup game could be done without constantly holding the E key?

(Adding the ability to pick up rocks with a right mouse click could be an easy way to make this more ergonomic)
